Thank you for visiting our web page! My name is Sue Dixon and teaching in Whitewater has been a wonderful experience. I LOVE being part of a dedicated learning team and a supportive community. I attended UW-Whitewater for both my bachelor's degree and my master's degree. My six siblings and I grew up in a house that is located less than a block away from Lincoln Inquiry Charter School. My great grandparents came to this area, from Norway, in the spring of 1847. They built a log cabin in the Skoponong Settlement. The Emerson cabin can still be seen today, within the boundary of the Kettle Moraine State Forest. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, vacationing in northern Wisconsin, learning about history, playing euchre, and cheering for my favorite football teams. At school, our class has fun investigating and discovering in a positive, student centered, learning environment.
