After School String Program in Year 10! Fourth Grade through High School Ensembles this year!  Returning Orchestra Director, Ms. Patricia Nielsen.
 
Our  orchestra director, Ms. Patricia Nielsen, retired orchestra director from Fort Atkinson School District.  She is a highly respected string teacher in our state and we are thrilled to have her in her 3rd year teaching for our string program!

New students interested in participating in the program should attend the evening recruitment meeting with a parent, on Sept. 19, 6:30 at LINCS Elementary Upper Gym, 242 S. Prince Street.  More information will be sent home to all students.
The WUSD Strings Program is starting its 10th year!  We have served hundreds of students in this short time.  This after school program serves students in grades 4-12 at all three elementary schools, the middle school and new this year a high school ensemble.  Grades 4-5 have classes and orchestra at LINCS between the times of 3:00-4:40, dependent upon which school they attend.  Students take the shuttle bus from Washington and Lakeview to get to LINCS.  Middle School Orchestra is held at the Middle School on Wednesdays after school ad students can participate in strings and sports.  The orchestra is conducted by Ms. Patricia Nielsen  Lesson teachers are music education string students from UW-Whitewater.  There are 3 concerts during the year, 2 held at the high school auditorium and a March Solo and Ensemble held at the Lincoln Gym.
