Owl Moon (Based on book by Jane Yolan)

Oh you’ve gotta be quiet, Under the shining Owl Moon

Oh you’ve gotta be quiet, Under the shining Owl Moon

Oh you’ve gotta be quiet, Under the shining, Under the shining,

Under the shining Owl Moon

You’ve gotta make your own heat, Under the shining Owl Moon.

You’ve gotta make your own heat, Under the shining Owl Moon.

You’ve gotta make your own heat, And you’ve gotta be quiet,

Under the shining, Under the shining, Under the shining Owl Moon.

And You’ve gotta be brave, Under the shining Owl Moon.

And You’ve gotta be brave, Under the shining Owl Moon.

And You’ve gotta be brave,

You’ve gotta make your own heat, And you’ve gotta be quiet,

Under the shining, Under the shining, Under the shining Owl Moon.

And you’ve gotta have hope, Under the shining Owl Moon.

And you’ve gotta have hope, Under the shining Owl Moon.

And you’ve gotta have hope, And You’ve gotta be brave,

You’ve gotta make your own heat, And you’ve gotta be quiet,

Under the shining, Under the shining, Under the shining Owl Moon.

Had a Little Rooster

Had a little rooster and the rooster pleased me, Fed my rooster under yonder tree.

That little rooster went Cock-a-doodle-do de-doodle-de doodle-de doodle-de-do.

Had a little cat and the cat pleased me, fed that cat under yonder tree.

That little cat went Me-ow, meow, meow,

That little rooster went Cock-a-doodle-do de-doodle-de doodle-de doodle-de-do.

Had aa little dog and the dog pleased me, Fed that dog under yonder tree.

That little dog went Arff, Arff, Arff. That little cat went Me-ow, meow, meow,

That little rooster went Cock-a-doodle-do de-doodle-de doodle-de doodle-de-do.

Had a little cow and the cow pleased me.  Fed that cow under yonder tree.

That little cow went Moo, moo, moo.

That little dog went Arff, Arff, Arff. That little cat went Me-ow, meow, meow,

That little rooster went Cock-a-doodle-do de-doodle-de doodle-de doodle-de-do.

Had a little pig and the pig pleased me.  Fed that pig under yonder tree.

That little pig went Oink, Oink, Oink. That little cow went Moo, moo, moo.

That little dog went Arff, Arff, Arff. That little cat went Me-ow, meow, meow,

That little rooster went Cock-a-doodle-do de-doodle-de doodle-de doodle-de-do.

Galump Went the Little Green Frog

Galump went the little green frog one day, Galump went the little green frog.

Galump went the little green frog one day, And his eyes went – Galump!

John Kanaka

I heard, I heard the old man say, “John Kanaka naka, Too-lah-lay”

Today, today is a holiday, John Kanaka naka, Too-lah-lay

Too-lah-lay, Too-lah-lay, John Kanaka naka, Too-lah-lay

Too-lah-lay, Too-lah-lay, John Kanaka naka, Too-lah-lay

Cobbler Cobbler

Cobbler Cobbler, mend my shoe, have it done by half past two

Toora Loora Loo

Half past two is much too late, have it done by half past eight.

Toora Loora Loo

Sharpen up the Saw

Sharpen up the saw, Sharpen it, Sharpen it.

Sharpen up the saw and you’ll be strong.

Sharpen up the saw, Sharpen it, Sharpen it.

Sharpen up the saw and sing this song.

1. When you walk and when you run, You are very wise.

You build muscles and your heart, When you exercise.

2. Eating vegetables and fruit, Milk gives protein too.

Building bones and Building teeth. Makes you feel brand new.

3.If it’s hard to get to sleep, There’s a book to read.

Lullabies and counting sheep, Might be what you need.

4.When your body’s feeling sharp, your brain is sharp as well,

You can learn and think and grow, And everyone can tell!
