Project ADAM HeartSafe Schools Celebration - Sep 26, 2019

On Wednesday, September 25th, 2019 the Whitewater Unified School District was designated as a Project ADAM HeartSafe district. This designation has taken over two years to earn with the hard work of the School Health Services Team. Tracie Haugen, an RN representative for the Project ADAM HeartSafe Schools program from the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin/Hermana Heart Institute presented the banners to each school. The ultimate goal of Project ADAM is to provide access to comprehensive and sustained HeartSafe school programming to schools across the entire country. The program has saved 140 lives nationwide.

INVITATION TO APPLY FOR VACANCY ON SCHOOL BOARD - Dec 1, 2021

The School Board is seeking a community member to serve on the School Board due to the recent loss of long-time, honored Board member, Mr. Jim Stewart. The member would fulfill this position until it expires on April 25, 2022.

Any person who is a United States citizen and a qualified elector of the Whitewater Unified School District is legally qualified to become a member of the School Board. In addition, members of the Board should have a genuine interest in and devotion to public education, a willingness to give time and effort to the position, a capacity to understand people, and the ability to work cooperatively with others.
